These supplemental programs and benefits are also available to Federal employees and are convertible to civilian employment and/or retirement. This means if an employee leaves federal service, for any reason, our programs transfer with the employee. Also, several programs are available to the spouse and children of a current employee. *Supplemental programs fill the gaps OPM do not provide.
